Job Details

Have 4+ years of professional experience in test automation.
Have hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks and API testing solutions.
Write automated tests using TypeScript.
Have experience designing and executing end-to-end testing strategies in Agile delivery environments.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, principal engineers, delivery managers, and other stakeholders to embed quality early in the SDLC.
Have experience in Agile continuous delivery teams and coordinating defect assessment, prioritization, and resolution.
Understand software quality principles, automation optimization, and continuous improvement.
Use analytical rigor and curiosity to investigate failures, identify root causes, and evaluate test outcomes.
Communicate and collaborate effectively, including constructively challenging technical and product decisions to protect software quality.
Manage changing priorities and take ownership of QA processes and quality outcomes.
A degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is desirable.
Certifications such as CSTAE, ASTQB ISTQB Advanced, or recognized Cypress or Playwright automation testing certifications are desirable.
Familiarity with pipeline and event-driven architectures, including Kafka, AWS EventBridge, AWS Step Functions, queues, streams, or SnapLogic, is an advantage.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
Define testing standards and contribute to product and service testing strategies.
Develop integration and end-to-end automated tests, utilities, mocks, and simulators.
Automate contract, smoke, regression, and end-to-end scenarios and integrate frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain test suites and regression packs, improving coverage while keeping them relevant and lean.
Test front-end, back-end, API, and distributed microservice environments using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Postman, and RestAssured.
Plan and coordinate performance testing using tools such as K6 and JMeter.
Collaborate with engineering, product, delivery, and other stakeholders to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
Investigate defects and production issues, identify root causes, and validate fixes through automated testing.
Improve automation practices and help engineering teams adopt stronger quality practices.
