Job Details

Experience: Five or more years of experience working with data and BI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem or other tools like Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Qlik, or SAP.
Required Skills: Microsoft Power BIDatabricks

Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Have five or more years of experience working with data and BI solutions in the Microsoft ecosystem or tools such as Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Qlik, or SAP.
Have advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query/M, and dimensional modeling.
Have familiarity with T-SQL, data modeling, and reporting in Power BI or similar tools.
Have experience creating comprehensive reports with linked content, drill-downs, and nested parameters.
Have experience with the Databricks platform for building data pipelines.
Be able to gather requirements and conduct focus groups to understand business processes.
Communicate visual choices and report interactions clearly and design user-friendly interfaces requiring minimal end-user training.
Be available to work remotely from 5pm to 2am Philippine Time.

Meet with clients to understand their reporting needs.
Collaborate with clients on Power BI licensing options and explain their strengths and limitations.
Build efficient star schema data models, including calculated columns and measures.
Develop Power BI solutions by importing data from various sources.
Design reports and dashboards and create data elements with DAX and source queries.
Guide clients on deploying solutions in the Power BI service, including gateways, DirectQuery, data flows, and refreshes.
