- Experience
- 1 year of progressive coding experience required; 2 years progressive coding experience in multiple specialties, HCC Risk adjustment Coding preferred
Requirements
- Have Medical Coding education or an active coding certification.
- Have at least 1 year of progressive coding experience.
- Hold one of the following certifications upon hire: CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CRC, RHIT, or RHIA.
- Experience in multiple specialties and HCC risk adjustment coding is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- An associate's degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
