Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 10 years of related experience, including 3 years of relevant CRO/Real-World industry and/or sales experience.
- Understanding of RWE methodologies, data sources, and evidence-generation strategies is preferred.
- Proven track record with mid-level and high-level contacts.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Excellent business and industry awareness, including understanding industry trends and their business impact.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing and interpreting customer business data.
- Ability to maintain demanding timelines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to influence others internally and externally and work independently as well as with a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- 30% travel expected based on location.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for and develop new business opportunities within assigned customer accounts.
- Build long-term relationships with customer decision-makers and develop knowledge of their organizations.
- Identify customer needs and propose appropriate strategies and solutions.
- Coordinate with contracts and proposals teams to develop proposals.
- Work with operations and functional managers to assemble and lead sales presentations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for target accounts and monitor results against plans.
- Record customer sales activities in the CRM system and prepare sales activity reports as required.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and follow up on sales and contractual documents.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and IQVIA technical and operational groups.
