Requirements
- Typically have 7+ years of repeated success across a variety of projects.
- Have successfully led high-stakes consulting engagements from discovery to production.
- Have built high-quality, maintainable software collaboratively and incrementally.
- Have written production-quality code using a variety of languages and frameworks, including Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Go, Ruby, Scala, R, and SQL.
- Have used AI-assistive development tools for scaffolding, refactoring, debugging, test generation, or documentation.
- Have experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered features into products or systems.
- Have used context-appropriate automated testing to inform software design and catch bugs.
- Have debugged and refactored pre-existing code.
- Have collaborated using Git, MacOS/Linux, and CI/CD.
- Have addressed architecture-level concerns such as scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
- Have experience collaborating with stakeholders to balance technical considerations with product and user needs.
- Strongly preferred experience includes MLOps, LangChain, data engineering, Databricks, DevSecOps, DevOps, or Infrastructure as Code.
Responsibilities
- Make immediate contributions to projects and build trust with clients.
- Balance technology choices pragmatically while delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
- Lead architecture and software design discussions.
- Collaborate on systems covering the ML lifecycle, from data ingestion and preprocessing through deployment, integration, and performance monitoring.
- Generate potential solutions to technical and non-technical challenges with team members and clients.
- Lead or initiate feedback conversations with teams and clients through retrospectives.
- Document outcomes and drive action items forward.
- Maintain a healthy, prioritized, estimated team backlog and manage high-level project roadmaps.
- Maintain relationships with client technical leaders and provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and potential solutions.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve blockers; mentor colleagues and contribute through workshops, community representation, or hiring support.
