Requirements
- Bring significant experience designing and maintaining ETLs that process large-scale datasets.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Have experience with platforms or tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, or dbt.
- Have 2+ years of experience in a technical lead role, such as Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
- Be willing to mentor and help others grow.
- Have experience working directly with complex, unclean datasets and processing and analyzing them.
- Be able to work with ambiguous or incomplete requirements to deliver practical solutions.
- Identify opportunities for tooling or automation to simplify workflows and reduce manual effort.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize ETLs using PySpark and dbt to process large-scale customer datasets.
- Develop tools and frameworks to streamline data integrations and improve scalability.
- Define the technical vision for Distribution Center data architecture.
- Mentor engineers and manage external contractors.
- Partner with product, engineering, and applied science teams to scope work.
- Deliver data solutions addressing customer data quality and product feature requirements.
