Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles collaborating with technical and business teams.
  • Bring experience in Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Account Management, or a combination of these with Sales, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Support.
  • Have relevant domain knowledge in at least one of: Supply Chain Security, DevSecOps, AppSec, security infrastructure, containers, regulatory compliance requirements, vulnerability management, or the software development lifecycle.
  • Take ownership of a customer portfolio and work with a high level of autonomy.
  • Demonstrate priority management skills and the ability to make decisions on customer outcomes, escalations, and issue de-escalation.
  • Show an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build new processes or practices.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
  • Bring drive and high emotional intelligence.
  • Previous early-stage startup experience is strongly preferred.
  • Relevant hands-on technical experience in cloud computing environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, containers, Linux, or the listed security domains is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer engagements across onboarding, implementation, and adoption.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to align success plans with requirements, goals, and challenges.
  • Support change management for large-scale rollouts and the Business Value Realization cycle.
  • Advocate for customer needs and requirements with internal teams.
  • Coordinate with Technical Support and Customer Engineering to resolve customer issues.
  • Build hands-on product knowledge and help customers optimize their use of Chainguard.
  • Work with customers and the Edu team to provide product, best-practice, and security-principle education.
  • Build relationships with customer stakeholders from technicians to CISOs.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify renewal and expansion paths and minimize churn risks.
