Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of professional experience developing full-stack applications and tooling with TypeScript and Python.
- Have practical experience writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Have experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Have designed complex systems that interact with external services, databases, and third-party APIs.
- Have experience working on cross-functional agile teams and estimating complex engineering tasks.
- Be able to communicate technical updates directly to client stakeholders.
- Have strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex, distributed, multi-vendor application failures and microservices.
- Bring prior experience with federal government digital service projects or civic tech programs.
- Be familiar with AWS GovCloud environments, FedRAMP compliance standards, and observability tooling.
- Have experience implementing synthetic test-data generators or complex mock-data services for enterprise integrations.
- Be able to meet applicable government contract requirements; a background check or security clearance may apply depending on the contract.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end automated UI and API test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Develop automated data-generation tools and synthetic applicant profile generators using Python and REST APIs.
- Build React and TypeScript tools for vendor teams and government stakeholders to generate test scenarios and monitor pipeline status.
- Construct, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and feature-driven promotion practices.
- Create reusable engineering patterns, self-service platform capabilities, CLI utilities, and starter kits.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and help establish team development patterns and code quality standards.
- Work with client leads and external vendor teams on developer self-service, release gatekeeping, and troubleshooting.
- Support cloud infrastructure updates using Terraform and embed automated security scanning.
- Navigate continuous compliance processes in a FedRAMP/Public Trust environment.
