Requirements
- 5-8 years of business analysis experience.
- Experience eliciting requirements from clients and business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
- Experience in a consulting environment and understanding of client relations on a large federal program.
- Experience defining and mapping business process models and documenting user stories and use cases.
- Advanced experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel, and Microsoft Visio.
- Experience with UI/UX design and UI design tools such as Axure, JustInMind, and iRise; Balsamiq is also listed.
- Deep knowledge of the full SDLC and experience on an Agile development project from kickoff to deployment.
- Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple assignments, and meet deadlines within sprint and increment timeboxes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and business-oriented stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and define functional and non-functional requirements with Product Owners, SMEs, stakeholders, and development and testing teams.
- Create business process models, including as-is and to-be workflows and happy and unhappy paths.
- Produce UI mockups, wireframes, UI/UX designs, flow diagrams, and business process models.
- Facilitate JAD sessions and meetings, capturing requirements, decisions, and action items.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA, and maintain and groom the product backlog with the Government Product Owner.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint and increment planning, and perform Scrum Master duties as needed.
- Estimate story sizing and track team velocity.
- Perform requirements gap analyses and maintain requirements documentation in Confluence.
- Support project managers with development progress and deployment schedules for milestone reviews and decision points.
- Coordinate sprint planning and workload assignments to support team velocity and project priorities.
