Requirements
- Have 10+ years of experience supporting Product Owners and Agile teams, eliciting business needs, managing backlogs, developing requirements, and maintaining technical documentation.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is also acceptable.
- Have experience leading or guiding multiple Business Analysts and Agile teams while maintaining alignment with program objectives.
- Translate stakeholder, customer, Product Owner, and end-user needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Bring experience with Agile methodologies, progressive elaboration of complex technical epics and stories, backlog management, and sprint readiness.
- Demonstrate expertise in business process analysis, workflow analysis, process modeling, and business process re-engineering.
- Have experience supporting modernization initiatives involving legacy IT environments, integrations, new development, and deployment alongside existing systems.
- Have experience with gap analyses, workflow assessments, Analysis of Alternatives, business process modeling, wireframes, and storyboards.
- Bring a strong technical background and ability to collaborate with Solutions Architects, developers, testers, and senior technical stakeholders.
- Have experience supporting testing through acceptance criteria development and validation of test-case results.
- Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, including communicating practical recommendations.
- Bring verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Be able to work independently and contribute effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex Agile delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide Business Analysts across multiple Scrum teams, aligning requirements, backlog management, and delivery approaches.
- Own backlog decomposition strategy and maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog prepared for upcoming sprints.
- Partner with Product Owners and customer stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage scope, define objectives, and align work with product vision and roadmap.
- Establish and enforce Definitions of Ready and Done across development teams.
- Report on backlog health and decomposition using metrics, dashboards, and regular reporting.
- Coordinate Program Increment planning, including dependencies, milestones, deliverables, sequencing, and timelines.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, impediments, and delivery issues through resolution.
- Develop business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, technical documentation, process maps, and related delivery artifacts.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, customer journey mapping, process-mapping sessions, and business analysis workshops.
- Create detailed process maps and supporting narratives in Microsoft Visio, and lead retrospectives and Business Analyst Communities of Practice.
