Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred; three years’ experience may substitute for education.
  • Minimum two years’ work experience in a healthcare setting or related areas.
  • Familiarity with healthcare quality standards and auditing.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and documentation practices.
  • Experience maintaining operational controls in a regulated environment.
  • Experience with grievances, complaints, appeals, or member/provider issues in healthcare, health plan, managed care, PACE, or another regulated healthcare environment is highly desired.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is desired.
  • Ability to multitask in a challenging environment.
  • Strong communication, listening, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential deficiencies and monitor appropriate corrections to ensure data integrity in the EHR.
  • Monitor participant medical records for complete and timely documentation and report policy or procedure issues to the Quality Operations Supervisor.
  • Conduct medical records audits to verify required documentation is timely and accurate.
  • Prepare documents, including universe lists, for audit desk review submissions.
  • Assist with EMR navigation and impact analysis during WelbeHealth audits.
  • Review and reconcile assigned regulatory logs.
  • Participate in team documentation, process improvements, and other Quality Operations initiatives.
  • Complete required investigations, notifications, and assigned tasks accurately and on time.
