Requirements
- Have 2–5 years of experience.
- Hold a bachelor's degree.
- Produce clear research outputs with quick turnaround, sound judgment, and limited hand-holding.
- Reason through unfamiliar questions with curiosity.
- Use AI tools such as Claude and Cowork, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Hugging Face.
- Ideally, create a working script or prototype through vibe coding.
- Work through vague briefs by taking an initial pass, asking questions, and iterating.
- Work independently while taking direction and coaching.
- Communicate research clearly in a page or less.
Responsibilities
- Run open-ended research projects using the internet as the primary tool.
- Research markets, products, companies, funding activity, competitive landscapes, people, technologies, and regulation.
- Turn findings into matrices, comparison tables, briefs, landscape maps, and one-pagers.
- Develop a point of view, flag what matters and what is uncertain, and identify what to investigate next.
- Use AI tools to work faster and cover more ground.
- Build lightweight tools, scrapers, or trackers when a project calls for them.
- Manage several unrelated requests and reprioritize as needs change.
