Job Details

Have 0–2 years of experience.
Hold a bachelor's degree.
Bring strong reasoning skills and curiosity, including the ability to work through unfamiliar questions.
Be comfortable working with vague briefs, taking an initial pass, asking questions, and iterating.
Work independently while remaining open to coaching and direction.
Use AI tools, including tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Hugging Face.
Ideally be able to create a working script or prototype without waiting on an engineer.
Write clearly and communicate research in a page or less.

Run open-ended research projects using the internet as the primary tool, covering markets, products, companies, funding activity, competitors, people, technologies, or regulation.
Turn findings into matrices, comparison tables, briefs, landscape maps, and one-pagers.
Develop a point of view by identifying what matters, what is uncertain, and what to investigate next.
Use AI tools to work faster and explore more broadly.
Build lightweight tools, scrapers, or trackers when a project calls for them.
Manage several unrelated requests and reprioritize as project needs change.
