- Hold a valid broker license.
- Have at least 1 year of insurance experience.
- An active RIBO license is highly desirable.
- Translate complex insurance concepts into simple language.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, underwriters, and partners.
- Demonstrate attention to detail in policy accuracy and a target-driven mindset.
- Prioritize effectively while managing a portfolio of clients and tasks.
- Use digital tools and a BMS to manage client portfolios efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Onboard clients and serve as the main point of contact for client requests.
- Review submissions, process endorsements, issue certificates of insurance, and make policy modifications.
- Conduct mid-term reviews to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Analyze and execute remarkets with insurance partners.
- Engage inbound leads, assess prospective clients’ risks, and recommend coverage.
- Guide clients from initial quote through to sale, explaining coverage terms in plain language.
- Share pipeline updates and insights to help optimize pricing models, conversion strategy, and program offerings.
- Lead renewal outreach, review policy coverage and data, and identify opportunities to retain and grow accounts.
- Negotiate pricing and coverage packages with insurance partners.
