Bring 4–7 years of professional software development experience with senior-level responsibilities.
Have strong skills in Go or a comparable backend language.
Have strong SQL skills, with Postgres or an equivalent database.
Have experience working on payment platforms or with payments and financial transactions.
Be comfortable with event buses or queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Apply unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
Be familiar with Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Data lake or analytics engineering experience with tools such as ClickHouse, dbt, Dagster, Spark/Databricks, or Snowflake is a plus.
Experience with analytics products, TypeScript, or financial and data reconciliation is a plus.
Experience integrating with QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar APIs, or understanding double-entry accounting, is a plus.
Familiarity with Prometheus or Grafana, encryption or audit trails, and mentoring or project leadership is a plus.

Develop and maintain core services for data processing, transformations, and business logic.
Design idempotent, queue-based event-driven workflows using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.
Write maintainable services in Go or a similar language, and SQL using Postgres or an equivalent.
Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Instrument metrics and alerts for throughput, latency, and error rates, and diagnose and resolve issues.
Partner with Product and Operations to deliver features and work with teammates to refine tooling and processes.
