Requirements
- Have 8–12 years of experience in People/HR.
- Have direct experience managing HRBPs or People partners.
- Bring functional experience across performance, compensation, compliance, employee experience, and talent development.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop a team and improve its performance.
- Drive execution through others while preserving strategic intent.
- Combine strategic thinking with attention to operational details.
- Use sound judgment in deciding which employee issues to handle, delegate, or escalate.
- Be an active user of AI tools and be able to describe tools used and work built with them.
- Communicate directly and represent the People function credibly with managers and ELT members.
- Be comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the People Ops Manager and HRBP team, setting priorities, providing feedback, and developing team capability.
- Own and execute the people roadmap by scoping, sequencing, and assigning work.
- Coach HRBPs on complex employee situations and ensure they provide effective business partnership.
- Partner with the People Ops Manager to oversee HRIS, lifecycle, compliance, and benefits operations.
- Own performance-cycle execution, calibration support, and manager coaching infrastructure.
- Ensure employee experiences are effective from onboarding through development and offboarding.
- Drive manager training, career frameworks, development programming, and related growth tools.
- Address employment-law requirements, policy gaps, and risk exposure across people practices.
- Handle complex employee-relations situations and sensitive manager conversations.
- Represent the People function in cross-functional work and drive AI-tool adoption across the team and company.
