Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university, or have 8 years of progressive experience in multi-unit foodservice, hospitality management, or support services in lieu of a degree.
- Bring significant multi-unit and multi-client leadership experience; higher education experience is preferred.
- Previous Vice President-level experience is preferred.
- Have a strong senior leadership background in contract management, budgeting, customer service, people development, food services, negotiations, and operational strategy.
- Demonstrate the ability to grow a business and lead large cross-functional teams.
- Apply strong business and financial judgment.
- Bring analytical, strategic, and decision-making skills, including the ability to respond quickly and accurately in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrate client relationship, influencing, listening, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Develop teams, identify talent, conduct performance evaluations, and support succession planning.
- Demonstrate initiative, ownership, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and related productivity tools.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead District Managers, Resident District Managers, and their teams to achieve regional performance objectives.
- Build client relationships across local, district, and state levels while driving performance indicators and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in the nationwide leadership team, sharing best practices, mitigating risks, and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate business risks and implications to make and communicate regional decisions.
- Establish a regional culture focused on transparency, education, safety, accountability, inclusion, and alignment.
- Represent the organization with key clients, maintain stakeholder relationships, and address complex escalations.
- Partner with Sales and Retention teams on growth strategies, new business opportunities, prospective client relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Drive talent development through performance evaluations, succession planning, and coaching.
- Own regional P&L and financial performance, including reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Monitor marketplace trends and contribute to strategic planning and long-term business development.
