Requirements

  • Be fluent in both French and English, including written and verbal communication, customer presentations, and commercial discussions.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience managing and growing an existing B2B customer portfolio, ideally in a subscription or solution-based business, or 5+ years in a comparable Customer Success, Training, or Product Expertise role.
  • Demonstrate success achieving retention, renewal, upselling, or cross-selling targets.
  • Have experience using AI solutions and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gong, or comparable platforms.
  • Bring consultative selling and strategic account management capabilities.
  • Have experience with CRM platforms, renewal cycles, negotiating commercial terms, and closing expansion opportunities.
  • Be able to identify account risks, handle objections, and develop strategies to retain and grow customer relationships.
  • Be able to engage multiple stakeholders, including senior decision-makers and budget holders.
  • Be able to use customer data, product usage information, and business outcomes to demonstrate value and identify growth opportunities.
  • Legal experience, a law degree, legal practice experience, or experience working within a law firm is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage retention, renewals, and revenue growth across a portfolio of Quebec-based law firm, corporate, public-sector, and academic customers.
  • Achieve or exceed targets for customer retention, renewal revenue, upselling, and cross-selling, including opportunities involving AI-powered solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify expansion opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and address retention risks.
  • Understand customer needs, respond to objections and competitive considerations, and communicate solution value in relation to customer objectives.
  • Use AI tools and customer data to develop data-informed retention and growth strategies and communicate insights.
  • Manage renewal and expansion opportunities from discovery and proposal through negotiation and close.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers, budget holders, and end users to demonstrate value and support continued investment.
  • Conduct account reviews, monitor product usage and account health, and implement strategies to address churn risks.
  • Partner with onboarding, customer support, product, and other internal teams to increase adoption and resolve escalations.
  • Maintain CRM records, opportunity pipelines, renewal and expansion forecasts, and communicate customer feedback internally.
