Requirements
- For Associate Product Manager level: 2–4 years of experience in product management or a related role; business analysis, analytics, solutions, or implementation backgrounds within logistics technology are also relevant.
- For Product Manager level: 5+ years of experience, including end-to-end ownership of a product area and a demonstrated history of delivering measurable business impact.
- Practical experience in supply chain or logistics, with a strong understanding of shipper pain points, carrier dynamics, and day-to-day freight movement.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently explore product and customer data.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools and the ability to build clear, data-driven narratives from quantitative findings.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate product development, including building prototypes, scripts, analyses, or internal tools; be able to demonstrate practical examples.
- Experience conducting customer discovery calls and translating qualitative feedback into clear requirements and user stories.
- Experience working with distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones.
- Ability to work with significant overlap with US Central Time.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile product development environment.
- Preferred: experience across two or more of Truckload, LTL, Parcel, and Last Mile; SaaS onboarding flows, feature adoption programs, or customer health scoring.
- Preferred: familiarity with Pendo, Amplitude, or similar product analytics platforms; experience working directly with engineering squads using agile practices.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.
Responsibilities
- Own product outcomes for one or more over-the-road modes: Truckload, LTL, Parcel, or Last Mile.
- Monitor adoption, engagement, retention, tracking quality, ETA accuracy, and carrier coverage.
- Identify friction points and adoption gaps using product usage data, customer interviews, and feedback from Customer Success and Sales.
- Build, prioritize, and maintain a product backlog focused on measurable improvements in customer adoption and retention.
- Write SQL to investigate feature usage, tracking performance, customer behavior, and product opportunities.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar technologies to build prototypes, internal tools, scripts, and rapid analyses.
- Use product analytics platforms such as Pendo and maintain dashboards to monitor adoption trends across customer segments.
- Partner with Data Science and Engineering on instrumentation, event tracking, and product analytics.
- Lead discovery sessions and participate in onboarding calls, QBRs, and support escalations to understand shipper and carrier workflows.
- Partner with Engineering and Design through scoping, development, launch, and post-launch monitoring.
