Requirements
- Have practical knowledge of personal and small-business banking products and services.
- Be fluent in French and English and able to support clients, employees, and partners in both languages.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous contact-centre and/or banking experience is considered an asset.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust and develop client relationships.
- Demonstrate active listening, communication, and customer service abilities.
- Have analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and determine appropriate solutions.
- Be organized and able to manage multiple requests and priorities.
- Be adaptable, willing to learn, and able to respond to new challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with internal partners and team members.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and confidential client records and transactions.
- Work within established banking procedures, regulatory requirements, and service standards.
- Be willing to work an assigned schedule based on business needs: Monday to Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., and Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Respond to business banking inquiries professionally, efficiently, and accurately.
- Conduct needs-based conversations to understand clients’ current and future business banking requirements.
- Recommend products, services, and financial solutions based on clients’ objectives and priorities.
- Support clients with commercial deposit accounts, online business banking, electronic funds transfers, cash management, small-business financing, business credit cards, merchant services, and payroll solutions.
- Provide guidance on business banking strategies and products.
- Complete required transactions, follow-up activities, and post-call processing within established procedures.
- Refer complex or unresolved situations to the appropriate internal specialist or business group.
- Maintain current knowledge of business banking products, processes, services, and credit card offerings.
- Protect confidential client and organizational information and identify and report potential issues or risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to provide comprehensive solutions and a seamless client experience.
