2+ years of experience working in adult mental health

Requirements

  • Hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
  • Hold an active New York Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Have ANCC Board Certification.
  • Have DEA Certification.
  • Have 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health.
  • Have strong assessment skills.
  • Have communication and documentation abilities.
  • Have a computer and a quiet, professional space for tele-psychiatry appointments.
  • Be comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial evaluations with clients.
  • Collaboratively develop treatment plans for medication, therapy, or a combination of both.
  • Follow up with clients at least monthly to assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
  • Provide ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved.
  • Provide various modalities of talk therapy.
