Requirements

  • Have approximately 3–5 years of progressive marketing, proposal, or communications experience within the A/E/C industry.
  • Bring direct experience developing A/E/C proposals, qualifications packages, marketing collateral, or similar client-facing pursuit materials.
  • Demonstrate the ability to turn complex or technical information into clear written and visual content.
  • Be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign; working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, or related Adobe applications is also requested.
  • Have experience with A/E/C-specific CRM, project database, or marketing information systems.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Have strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, research, and visual communication skills.
  • Be able to locate, organize, evaluate, and validate information from multiple sources.
  • Be able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Preferred: A/E/C and Federal marketing, proposal, or procurement experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with public-sector procurement, prequalifications, or qualifications-based selection processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop proposals, qualifications packages, and other pursuit materials using established processes, templates, and standards.
  • Assemble project experience, staff qualifications, resumes, technical information, approach content, graphics, and other pursuit materials.
  • Write, edit, format, and organize content communicating the company’s qualifications, experience, and value to clients.
  • Review solicitation requirements and coordinate proposal activities with technical staff and other contributors.
  • Research projects, clients, procurement activity, and potential teaming opportunities.
  • Coordinate prequalification packages, vendor registrations, teaming documentation, and MBE/SBE information.
  • Maintain client, project, pursuit, and marketing information in CRM, project database, and marketing information systems.
  • Create and support project profiles, case studies, presentations, brochures, articles, award submissions, and digital content.
  • Support client interviews, presentations, conferences, events, and other business development activities.
  • Manage multiple proposals, prequalifications, marketing projects, and deadlines.
