- Three to five (3 to 5) years of experience in financial project management, preferably associated with government contracting preferred; a minimum of 2 years of PCA experience is preferred; three to five (3 to 5) years of experience with construction contract accounting, project controls, or project financial management.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years of experience in financial project management, preferably in government contracting.
- At least two years of PCA experience preferred.
- Three to five years of experience with construction contract accounting, project controls, or project financial management.
- Experience overseeing construction contract financial administration, including progress billing, retainage, subcontractor invoicing, change orders, and project cost reporting.
- Working knowledge of construction project accounting, contract funding management, job cost tracking, and earned value or budget-to-actual reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Deltek Costpoint or similar accounting systems; Costpoint experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of contract billing types including fixed firm price, time and materials, and cost plus.
- Knowledge of government contracting terms including IDIQs, ACRNs, period of performance, SCA, CLINs, and work breakdown structures.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance provider or program.
Responsibilities
- Set up contracts in Deltek Costpoint or alternate accounting software and report contract costs.
- Support recurring customer invoice submissions and monitor their status.
- Coordinate contract closeout with Accounting, Program and Project Management, Operations, and Contracts and Compliance.
- Review employee timekeeping and contract charge-code allocation as required.
- Monitor contract funding, documentation status, burn rates, performance periods, and renewal dates, and report findings to designated personnel.
- Review accounts payable invoices from subcontractors and vendors.
- Monitor contract activity, billing and collection issues, and cash flow projections.
- Prepare or support project budget worksheets and contract data for government reporting and deliverables.
- Oversee construction contract funding, cost tracking, budgets, change orders, retainage, subcontractor payments, and progress billings.
