Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, analytics, economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience developing, maintaining, tracking, and analyzing project or program schedules, milestones, deliverables, and performance data.
- Experience supporting project controls, program controls, operational planning, schedule forecasting, progress tracking, and/or variance analysis.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling principles.
- Experience with forecasting and what-if scenario analysis.
- Experience with risk and issue management and root-cause analysis.
- Preferred: Advanced Excel, Power BI, business intelligence, Python, Alteryx, or other data analytics experience.
- Preferred: Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile, or SCRUM process improvement methodologies.
- Preferred: Experience developing program dashboards, performance reporting frameworks, workflow tracking, and automated reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support project cost management and control functions across engineering and construction projects.
- Develop detailed and summary cost estimates and produce project cost models.
- Review contract documents to identify cost obligations and integrate them into cost deliverables.
- Update costs using project progress data and maintain baseline concepts.
- Support what-if analyses, schedule forecasts, variance analyses, and risk mitigation activities.
- Analyze cost trends, investigate anomalies, and identify root causes of cost variances.
- Prepare cost, schedule, and performance reports, dashboards, and management insights.
- Coordinate schedule updates in Primavera P6 and collaborate on cost projections.
- Review contractor change orders affecting cost and schedule and reflect them accurately in reporting.
- Track project cost and schedule data, milestones, dependencies, progress, risks, and variances with owners and stakeholders.
