Have previous experience working with servers, applications, and databases.
Be comfortable working with APIs.
Have experience with modern web backend development frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or Spring Boot.
Have experience with modern web frontend frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React.js.
Have experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
Have a good understanding of the Unix operating system and infrastructure automation.
Have an interest in, understanding of, or experience with Agile development methodology.
Be comfortable speaking and working in English with US-based team members.
Hold a BS or have equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related area.

Understand requirements, write code, design and test applications, and support them in an Agile environment.
Apply Design Thinking to create products with a strong user experience, performance, security, quality, and stability.
Design and code reusable, scalable servers, services, applications, and databases.
Create clean, well-documented, easy-to-use APIs.
Create and configure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS applications.
Design and implement large-scale systems and service-oriented architectures that enable continuous delivery.
Maintain detailed documentation of code and software procedures.
Manage and document software changes.
Collaborate with other engineering teams on joint projects.
