Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience as a consultant; federal consulting experience is preferred.
- Have a bachelor's degree; Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Have knowledge of business processes or operations in the healthcare industry, commercial or federal.
- Have at least 3 years of database engineering experience.
- Have hands-on experience with AWS RDS, DynamoDB, and other relevant AWS services.
- Have familiarity with at least one programming language for database development, such as Python or Java, and be proficient in Java languages.
- Have experience with database performance tuning and optimization, database security best practices, SQL, and database design.
- Have experience with related areas such as HL7, Cache, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and XML.
- Have mastery of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Have experience using JIRA and Git/GitHub.
- Be able to produce deliverables within tight time frames and succeed in a dynamic environment.
- Have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- AWS Certified Database Specialty, Azure Database Administrator, or similar certification is listed as a qualification.
Responsibilities
- Assess client organizations, strategic goals, governance structures, and operating environments to facilitate delivery, contract renewals, expansion, and new business opportunities.
- Evaluate market trends and identify their impact on client business operations.
- Lead project teams and provide feedback on work products, client needs, and internal deliverables.
- Inform leadership and clients about project status.
- Manage client relationships, communications, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and strategic development.
- Oversee project resources and identify and address resource gaps.
- Deliver internal and external presentations and facilitate client and internal meetings.
- Meet deadlines by managing time, prioritizing tasks, and using available resources.
