Requirements
- Have 3+ years of healthcare communications experience within an agency, with a track record of developing high-quality deliverables.
- Hold an advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related discipline; PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive scientific narratives for diverse audiences, including primary care physicians and specialists.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines across diverse accounts while maintaining quality under pressure.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Use Adobe Acrobat and be familiar with online proofing platforms such as Workfront Proof or Ziflow and Veeva Vault.
- Use AI tools and resources to support research and content development efficiently and responsibly.
- Work eastern US hours.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and mentor medical writers within assigned therapeutic areas and client accounts.
- Review and revise medical content for scientific accuracy and alignment with client strategies.
- Advise clients on medical strategies and the design and analysis of medical communication tactics and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary medical contact for clients on projects and deliverables.
- Ensure deliverables meet scientific accuracy, consistency, client-guideline, and industry-regulation requirements.
- Partner with account and project leads on scopes, budgets, resourcing, timelines, and cross-functional communication.
- Support new-business proposals and participate in client pitches.
