Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Business is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Supply Chain/Transportation industry is required.
- Experience dealing with FTL shipments.
- Familiarity with North American geography.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the aptitude to learn new software quickly.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Advanced English skills.
- Ideally, be based in Bogotá or able to travel to Bogotá once a month at your own expense.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while tracking daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
- Ensure carriers comply with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze lane data, on-time performance, and costs.
- Negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers to support profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with brokers, carriers, and customers to resolve discrepancies.
- Obtain shipment rates, negotiate with logistics service providers, and select 3PL partners.
- Track and expedite shipments.
- Verify and troubleshoot shipping and customs documentation, including PODs, BOLs, and carrier confirmations.
