Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- One or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience, or two or more years of successful medical sales experience or demonstrated success in B2B sales or sales-relevant fields.
- GI Specialty experience preferred.
- Proven and consistent track record of success in sales performance.
- Experience launching new products.
- Demonstrated success leveraging marketing, market access pull-through, and technology solutions.
- Proven business acumen and analytical expertise.
- Ability to build professional relationships with office staff and others in the customer network.
- Demonstrated success in live and virtual interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Strong technical skills and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Some territory overnight travel may be required depending on geography; travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may be required.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales objectives in the assigned geography while following applicable company and regulatory standards.
- Understand and identify customer needs and align appropriate resources and pull-through activities.
- Build advanced product and disease-state expertise to engage healthcare professionals.
- Promote the company’s product to Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners, and select Primary Care Physicians.
- Deliver clinically focused messages and address customer concerns.
- Build understanding of territory market dynamics and market access opportunities.
- Develop territory business plans with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists.
- Coordinate with peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to drive execution and share best practices.
- Use CRM effectively and complete expense reporting.
