Requirements
- Hold an independent New Jersey license as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD/PhD.
- Have at least 1 year of experience working with children and adolescent patients.
- Have at least 1 year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting.
- Use evidence-based assessment and therapeutic practices with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.
- Be skilled in clinical assessment and psychotherapy across developmental stages and neurodiverse populations.
- Be comfortable using Google Suite, electronic medical record systems, and other virtual platforms.
- Be available to support afterschool, evening, and weekend sessions.
Responsibilities
- Lead individual telehealth intake sessions for youth ages 2–26 using evidence-based assessment practices.
- Provide individual evidence-based therapy and build consistent therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Explain therapeutic approaches to patients and families and provide a supportive entry point into care.
- Coordinate treatment plans with clinicians, medical providers, and families.
- Maintain thorough intake documentation and ongoing patient records.
- Involve and advise family members and outside specialists when appropriate.
