Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or hospitality, with hands-on exposure to customer-facing or back-office operations.
- Have experience in retail and e-commerce servicing, hospitality operations, or restaurant operations.
- Demonstrate ownership of outcomes in a client-facing delivery role such as implementation, technical project management, solution consulting, or customer success.
- Be able to map guest and shopper journeys and translate them into structured requirements and prioritized problem statements.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with VP and C-suite stakeholders and technical teams.
- Have working familiarity with TCPA outbound contact rules, PCI DSS payment handling, CCPA, GDPR, and brand compliance guidelines.
- Be comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing structure to uncertain situations.
- Have experience with agentic workflows and a strong interest in AI and automation.
- Be willing to travel up to 25–35% to client sites.
- Preferred: experience at a retail, e-commerce, OMS, POS, PMS, or loyalty technology vendor.
- Preferred: familiarity with CCaaS, IVR, or conversational AI platforms such as Talkdesk, Genesys, or Five9.
- Preferred: understanding of APIs and retail or hospitality platform integrations, and experience with product roadmaps, PRDs, or Agile/Scrum delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Product point of contact for a portfolio of retail, e-commerce, and hospitality clients.
- Lead discovery through interviews, order journey mapping, queue observation, agent side-by-sides, and document analysis.
- Translate client workflows into structured product and configuration requirements with FDEs, Applied ML, and Solution Engineers.
- Own the quality and completeness of Autopilot design and specification documents for engineering handoffs.
- Define business KPIs with clients and enforce scope discipline during UAT.
- Own deployments from pilot kickoff through go-live, managing timelines, stakeholder communication, change management, and iteration.
- Generate test criteria, conduct manual validation, and drive client UAT to completion, including on-site travel for strategic accounts.
- Partner with client legal, privacy, and security teams to clear requirements gating go-live.
- Monitor deployed Autopilots after launch, evaluate performance, and resolve field issues.
- Document ROI proof points and surface reusable patterns and product gaps to engineering and product leadership.
