Job Details

Have 5+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping customer-facing software in production, including ownership through production monitoring.
Have a track record using AI coding agents to deliver features across parallel workstreams.
Be proficient in designing systems, data models, and architecture, including performance and data-flow tradeoffs.
Be able to write executable agent specifications and technical documentation for people and agents.
Have depth in context engineering to structure repository and task context for reliable agent execution.
Be able to design parallel agent workflows with human checkpoints.
Be confident reading unfamiliar code and conducting root-cause analysis.
Be able to threat-model and identify security vulnerabilities, including injection, data-handling, and unsafe generated-output risks.
Set test-design and evaluation standards for others to follow.
Manage branching, reviewing, and safely integrating concurrent changes at parallel-workstream scale.
Set safe-release and reliability standards using CI/CD, feature flags, staged rollouts, and rollback.
Have experience operating and maintaining production software with observability, metrics, traces, and incident response.
Be able to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions beyond personal features.
Communicate technical direction and tradeoffs in writing and verbally to technical and non-technical audiences.

Shape ambiguous product opportunities into technical direction for engineers to execute.
Write agent specifications that define constraints, acceptance criteria, risks, and tradeoffs.
Guide when to delegate work to agents and where human judgment is needed.
Steer agents through implementation across concurrent workstreams.
Set verification standards and validate work with tests, observability, and production-readiness checks.
Own feature work from specification through production monitoring, including correctness, security, maintainability, and customer impact.
Determine which prompts, agent instructions, repository conventions, test harnesses, and playbooks to develop.
Influence product decisions and co-create specifications with product, design, and support.
Mentor engineers on specifying, delegating, and verifying agentic work.
