Requirements
- 12+ years of product management experience.
- Several years of experience in fintech, investment research, or the financial services industry.
- Experience managing complex products with many moving parts.
- Working knowledge of financial-data user workflows, such as investor research, quantitative analysis, or M&A.
- Experience with Notion and Linear.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business; an MBA or CFA designation is also listed.
- Comfort using SQL, LLMs, or both to query complex datasets, audit for quality, and translate technical findings into user value is considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Create the framework for a zero-to-one product lifecycle from initial data analysis through launch.
- Create user stories, product milestones, and roadmaps, and support PMs in creating detailed PRDs.
- Work with internal capital-markets and investment-research experts to understand user pain points, validate product hypotheses, and inform prioritization.
- Translate complex user workflows and analytical needs into data architectures, partnering with Web, Excel, and AI platform peers on data delivery.
- Partner with Directors to manage resourcing, reporting, and milestone tracking across both major projects.
- Mentor and coach product managers in partnership with team leaders.
- Work with engineers to validate solutions using customer feedback, strategic objectives, market analysis, and technical feasibility.
- Analyze industry trends and competing content sets, and gather and document actionable customer feedback.
