Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional QA experience.
- Have a proven track record testing complex web applications.
- Understand modern QA methodologies and test design techniques, including equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis.
- Have mastery of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Life Cycle (STLC) within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Have practical database-testing experience, including writing complex SQL queries.
- Have experience validating backend behavior, data integrity, and test data setup and teardown in relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Have foundational test automation experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Be able to read and understand JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to testing.
- Be able to collaborate with developers, product owners, and the QA team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the QA lifecycle from requirements analysis and testability review through test strategy, execution, and release-readiness reporting.
- Perform manual functional, integration, regression, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
- Test APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate business logic, data integrity, and backend functionality.
- Identify, document, isolate, and track defects; work with developers to resolve them and verify fixes.
- Provide feedback on requirements during grooming and contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Share testing knowledge and best practices with team members.
