Requirements

  • Have proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer working with Back-End.
  • Know JavaScript, TypeScript, and the Node.js ecosystem.
  • Have experience working with AWS or similar solutions, including services such as DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, QuickSight, and S3.
  • Have experience designing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests.
  • Have experience with event-driven architectures.
  • Have experience developing highly available, fault-tolerant systems and maintaining data consistency in event-driven architectures.
  • Have practical experience using AI tools in software development and the ability to critically review generated code and validate its behavior.
  • Be able to work independently and self-manage.
  • Take initiative to investigate unclear requirements and underlying causes.
  • Experience with compliance, regulatory reporting, or systems where data accuracy, traceability, and auditability are essential is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the gaming platform, including customer-facing features, compliance and reporting systems, and core platform components.
  • Review and debug code with attention to quality, data integrity, edge cases, and unintended effects across the platform.
  • Participate in software design and architecture discussions.
  • Own changes throughout the software development life cycle, clarifying requirements, assessing impact, and verifying behavior after release.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools, scripting, and automation to improve development and engineering workflows, critically evaluating outputs and remaining accountable for change quality.
  • Design and perform tests that verify business rules, data accuracy, and failure scenarios, working with QA to ensure changes are adequately covered.
