Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience focused on accounts payable, payroll processing, and month-end close.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP, and with payroll platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Experience with multi-entity or international payroll processing preferred.
- Knowledge of process automation tools and software preferred.
- Experience in flux analysis and financial forecasting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review purchase requests, invoices, and workflow approvals to ensure accurate and timely accounts payable processing.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams on accounts payable issues.
- Record and reconcile payroll transactions for employees and contractors, and collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee data.
- Manage payroll tax calculations and filings in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage payroll-related accruals, including PTO, bonuses, and contractor expenses, and reconcile accrual accounts.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for accounts related to accounts payable, payroll, and accruals.
- Conduct flux analysis to identify and explain significant variations in financial performance.
- Meet month-end close deadlines and deliver accurate financial reports to internal stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation in accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
