Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience in outbound business development.
- Have at least 2 years managing a BDR, SDR, or Sales team in a B2B environment; enterprise customer experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate success leading BDR/SDR teams against pipeline and revenue targets.
- Have experience building or improving sales development processes, including cadences, qualification criteria, territory design, compensation and quota structures, and performance reporting.
- Bring strong analytical and commercial skills, including interpreting conversion rates, pipeline coverage, and activity-to-outcome ratios.
- Have CRM and sales enablement expertise, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, including designing meaningful reporting.
- Have experience selling HR technology or prospecting and selling to HR leaders, ideally at the executive level.
- Have experience applying AI tools to sales workflows, such as outreach quality assurance, call analysis, research, coaching, or enablement.
- Have experience building or scaling BDR functions in hybrid or fully remote organizations.
- Be familiar with HubSpot, Leadfeeder, Dealfront, Gong, or similar sales and revenue technologies.
- Be able to work primarily within US time zones and regularly attend meetings aligned with EMEA and APAC working hours.
Responsibilities
- Establish and improve pipeline management expectations, processes, reporting, KPIs, and performance standards.
- Own BDR metrics and reporting, including dashboard design, data hygiene, metric definitions, and leadership reporting.
- Develop and communicate weekly pipeline forecasts for the BDR/SDR organization and senior leadership.
- Lead outreach quality assurance using AI tools for message review, call and email analysis, coaching feedback, and performance improvement.
- Partner with Sales leadership on outbound strategies and Marketing on inbound lead programs.
- Mentor, train, coach, and develop internal and outsourced BDR team members.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain BDR talent and create structured ramp plans.
- Create documentation, playbooks, and processes for the broader BDR organization.
- Manage a small number of contacts across territories and demonstrate prospecting, messaging, and execution.
- Monitor execution of BDR initiatives, standards, and processes, and provide feedback to Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership.
