Requirements
- Have 7+ years of product design experience in fast-paced environments.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and other cross-functional partners.
- Provide an outstanding portfolio with presentable case studies demonstrating shipped product work.
- Demonstrate expertise in typography, interaction design, visual design, and ideation.
- Simplify complex challenges into intuitive, effective product experiences.
- Combine detailed design execution with high-level strategic product thinking while maintaining speed and quality.
- Understand design systems, including their evolution, underlying principles, and opportunities for development.
- Collaborate with engineers and product partners and develop clear rationales for design and product decisions.
- Communicate ideas and design decisions through strong written, verbal, and storytelling skills.
- Adapt to evolving processes, team structures, and product priorities, and incorporate constructive feedback.
- Experience with AI design tools and workflows is valuable, particularly for rapid exploration and validation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and leadership to translate strategy and complex challenges into high-impact initiatives.
- Lead design work from ideation through launch, creating experiences, interactions, prototypes, and visual designs.
- Identify opportunities, pitch ideas, define scope, and help determine how initiatives should be executed.
- Conduct user research to uncover needs, pain points, and opportunities, and use insights to guide decisions.
- Use AI-assisted design tools and workflows to explore, prototype, validate, and communicate ideas and features.
- Contribute to the design system and establish a cohesive, scalable visual and interaction language.
- Collaborate with engineers to maintain design intent, usability, visual quality, and implementation details.
- Advocate for thoughtful design decisions throughout the product development process.
- Share feedback and collaborate with designers to elevate the broader team's work.
