Requirements
- Have 8-10+ years of product design experience, ideally in growth, platform, or high-scale consumer technology environments.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate at Staff scope and influence product direction across a broader portfolio.
- Be proficient in code-based prototyping using tools like Cursor.
- Provide a portfolio demonstrating design craft, systems thinking, and measurable impact on acquisition, conversion, retention, or other growth outcomes.
- Be comfortable with rapid iteration, A/B testing, and pivoting based on performance data.
- Demonstrate storytelling, writing, and presentation skills, including synthesizing complex ideas for senior and executive-level reviews.
- Show strong judgment and leadership presence, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams through ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Turn broad business problems into clear design strategies, phased plans, and actionable scopes across the Growth portfolio.
- Drive end-to-end growth work and shape the broader engagement system beyond individual features.
- Shape experiences across Reddit-owned and partner surfaces.
- Use coding tools such as Cursor to build high-fidelity, functional prototypes using real data.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design leadership to influence priorities and connect experimentation with longer-term product direction.
- Present design directions and recommendations to senior and executive leadership using data-driven insight and product judgment.
- Develop reusable patterns and components that scale across Growth and Reddit.
- Translate data, user behavior, and experiment results into clear narratives for executive stakeholders.
