Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience; a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Have at least 8 years of professional experience in related marketing roles, including B2B marketing, product marketing, communications, or comparable strategic marketing functions.
- Have experience developing and executing marketing strategies, campaigns, product launches, and positioning initiatives.
- Be able to understand business needs and translate complex information into effective marketing strategies and audience-appropriate communications.
- Bring interpersonal and relationship-management skills to establish credibility with senior leadership, facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and build consensus across departments.
- Have demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives with senior-management stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Have exceptional written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Preferred: experience in the health insurance or Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) industry.
- Preferred: experience in brand development and positioning, and leadership or people-management responsibilities.
- Preferred: an MBA or MBC.
- Be able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt effectively to changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic marketing strategies, product launches, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business objectives, product offerings, client utilization and adoption, market positioning, and customer needs.
- Translate business and market insights into clear, compelling, defensible, and differentiated marketing strategies and messaging.
- Provide strategic writing expertise and creative direction, maintaining consistent key messages across marketing materials and channels.
- Monitor market conditions, competitive dynamics, and relevant trends to inform audience-specific messaging, tactics, and distribution strategies.
- Prioritize and execute strategic and departmental initiatives while managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Partner across departments to drive enterprise initiatives and align marketing deliverables with broader organizational objectives.
- Mentor marketing team members and provide subject-matter expertise and strategic guidance.
- Facilitate collaboration, build consensus, resolve conflicts, and establish stakeholder relationships across organizational levels.
- Maintain compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, security, and internal policy requirements.
