Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience developing highly scalable enterprise-level services, platforms, or products.
- Bring extensive experience building large-scale distributed enterprise applications in geographically distributed teams.
- Have deep backend knowledge of most or all of Node.js, Java, Python, Redis, and Golang.
- Know how to choose between SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Have experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Have knowledge of modern cloud architectures and technologies; AWS experience is a plus.
- Be able to document and deliver technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, data architecture, or data governance is a plus.
- Experience integrating CRM systems such as Salesforce with internal systems is a plus.
- Experience integrating third-party systems with internal and external workflows is a plus.
- Experience with business workflow orchestration or choreography patterns is a plus.
- Prior hands-on experience with AI in production environments is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Use an AI-native or AI-first approach throughout the SDLC.
- Iteratively turn ideas into prototypes and production-grade code.
- Design and develop the cloud platform, frameworks, and services across the G-P ecosystem.
- Develop solutions for a cloud-managed, serverless-first platform ecosystem.
- Build prototypes to refine concepts and turn them into production-quality features.
- Advocate for modern agile methodologies and practices such as the Well-Architected Framework.
- Promote quality, scalability, and building software with scale and speed.
- Diagnose and fix issues reported by internal teams and customers.
- Develop and promote unit, contract, integration, and other test suites.
- Support software engineers through advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
