Requirements
- Have a minimum of 8+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a significant focus on security products or features.
- Have experience with database security principles and best practices.
- Understand networking concepts and their implications for security.
- Have in-depth knowledge of identity and access management (IAM).
- Have prior experience in security engineering.
- Have experience with quality assurance processes and methodologies.
- Have a background in program management, including planning, execution, and risk management.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are listed.
- Experience securing a data platform, database product, or real-time analytics service is preferred.
- Familiarity with ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is preferred.
- Experience supporting BYOC or private deployment models is preferred.
- A background in open source software or developer-focused products is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for security-focused features and products.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver secure products.
- Translate security requirements into product specifications and user stories.
- Prioritize the product backlog and manage trade-offs to optimize business value and customer satisfaction.
- Drive product launches, including go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and user documentation.
- Monitor product performance and iterate on features using data and user feedback.
- Provide security guidance and insights to stakeholders across the organization.
