Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in analytics, business operations, revenue or customer success operations, product operations, data products, or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong analytical judgment, including the ability to assess data quality, methodology risks, and limitations.
- Have experience using AI-assisted analytics or workflow tools while maintaining validation and analytical standards.
- Have competent SQL skills and experience using BI and analytics tools to build, interpret, troubleshoot, and improve reporting.
- Be able to take analytical work from discovery to delivery with limited day-to-day direction, including gathering requirements, defining methodology, managing stakeholders, and driving adoption.
- Have experience building reusable dashboards, reporting frameworks, data products, or other decision-support solutions.
- Be able to turn complex analysis into concise narratives and recommendations.
- Have cross-functional collaboration and project leadership skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority.
- Connect analysis to outcomes for institutions, students, and Handshake.
- Balance attention to detail with prioritization in a fast-moving environment and create structure in ambiguous problem spaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytics and reporting initiatives for EDU Partnerships from defining business questions and success measures through delivery, enablement, and iteration.
- Plan analytics projects and manage stakeholder communication, balancing impact, effort, urgency, and maintainability.
- Build and evolve internal and partner-facing data products, dashboards, reports, and narratives.
- Develop scalable sources of truth and self-service resources for EDU teams.
- Deliver partner insights through business reviews, partner reporting, benchmarking, and other analyses.
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches, metrics, definitions, and recommendations; communicate data limitations clearly.
- Use SQL and data and BI tools to investigate questions, validate results, and develop reusable reporting.
- Partner with Product and R&D on embedded analytics, incorporating feedback from EDU Success, Support, and partners.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal teams, partners, and senior leaders, and support adoption through documentation, guidance, and training.
