Requirements
- Have 8+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or related technology disciplines, with demonstrated ownership of production environments.
- Have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Have scripting and automation experience using Python or TypeScript.
- Have experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes or similar containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Have experience designing and managing modern CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.
- Have experience with release and deployment management, production releases, rollback procedures, and troubleshooting.
- Have experience with cloud security, IAM, networking, encryption, secrets management, vulnerability management, and audit controls.
- Have experience with SaaS administration, user provisioning, access management, and lifecycle management.
- Have experience with cloud infrastructure cost management and optimization.
- Be able to design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot production systems.
- Be available to support off-business-hours deployments and releases if needed.
- AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, architecture, implementation, administration, and day-to-day operation of AWS infrastructure and cloud services.
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure and environments.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, logging, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and define DevOps standards, tooling, processes, and engineering practices.
- Own release and deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments, including automation, validation, and rollback procedures.
- Manage SaaS administration, governance, provisioning, access, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs through forecasting, resource utilization, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to implement controls and support audits, assessments, and customer security reviews.
- Monitor environments, troubleshoot production and deployment issues, and lead root-cause analysis and remediation.
