Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or relevant work experience including military service in lieu of a degree.
- At least 5 years of related professional experience in Airborne ISR solutions, products, or services with government or industry.
- Formal certification, training, or degree in knowledge areas relevant to business development or business capture.
- Experience in project management, program management, pricing, business development, bids and proposals, or capture.
- Knowledge of business development and capture workflow milestones, including capture gate reviews and action-item management.
- Experience researching, assessing data, and compiling written reports.
- Understanding of drafting white papers, presentations, and FAR-compliant proposal content.
- Knowledge of government procurement, fiscal, and regulatory environments.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, geographically separated teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Learn the assigned P&L’s vision, business plan, strategies, and technical focus areas.
- Develop subject matter expertise in TSC’s Airborne ISR products and services, capabilities, past performance, and future potential.
- Identify and assess new business opportunities aligned with existing Airborne ISR capabilities.
- Engage prospective customers and track external engagement activities.
- Draft marketing materials, white papers, presentations, and concepts of operations with input from subject matter experts and Marketing.
- Manage the assigned P&L’s opportunity pipeline in coordination with Operations, Division, and Business Development leadership.
- Analyze RFPs and related documents to guide inputs for compliant, timely bids and proposals.
- Lead and manage assigned proposal activities and capture strategies.
- Develop and retain government and industry partnerships.
