Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or other project management tools to manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Preferred: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, SAFe, comparable project management certification, or Prosci Change Management certification.
  • Preferred: Experience working with business and technology teams in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Preferred: Experience using PowerBI or other reporting tools.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Medicaid business processes in a regulated environment and Medicaid state implementations.
  • Preferred: Experience managing multiple complex projects or programs, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Preferred: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Skills in strategic and analytical thinking, risk management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Home-based work requires internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, and a dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Design, communicate, and implement strategic initiatives that support enterprise objectives.
  • Oversee program and project execution, monitoring progress and performance and resolving operational challenges.
  • Identify, acquire, and manage internal staff, materials, and external vendors needed for project delivery.
  • Prepare project requirements, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to secure contributions and align projects and programs.
  • Conduct status meetings and prepare reports to track milestones and address risks or issues.
  • Set priorities, delegate tasks, manage risks, and coordinate project teams to meet targets and deliverables.
