Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in IT audit, internal controls, or information security.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in a people management capacity.
- Demonstrate expertise in SOC1 and SOC2 audits.
- Demonstrate expertise in IT general controls (ITGCs) and SOX compliance frameworks.
- Hold an active CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification.
- Be able to manage multiple concurrent audit programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Have experience using automation or AI tools to improve audit workflows and compliance processes.
- Be able to translate complex technical controls into clear, business-relevant insights for senior stakeholders.
- CPA designation is considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and report on IT audits, including SOC1, SOC2, and financial statement audits.
- Coordinate audit work with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor IT general controls and SOX compliance frameworks across the organization.
- Identify control gaps, assess risk exposure, and develop remediation plans with Engineering, Finance, and Legal.
- Build and evolve AI-enabled audit workflows to reduce manual effort and scale compliance operations.
- Manage and develop team members by setting expectations and providing coaching.
- Lead IT controls testing and advance SOX readiness priorities.
- Present IPO-readiness progress and a roadmap for AI-enabled audit process improvements to leadership.
