Requirements
- 3–5 years of Go development experience focused on backend systems.
- Around 5 years of experience working with fintech applications.
- Understand distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design, including REST/RPC transports.
- Have experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, message brokers such as Kafka and NATS, and caching systems.
- Be familiar with CI/CD practices and tools, preferably GitLab.
- Have experience working with AWS.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Russian.
- Bring a security-by-design mindset and understanding of fintech regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
- Have experience optimizing performance and building high-availability systems.
- Have experience with observability tools, including logging, metrics, and tracing; Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry are named.
- Have experience integrating with external payment providers, processors, or anti-fraud systems.
- Be able to collaborate on technical solutions and explain complex technical ideas to colleagues with varying technical backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Go-based services for the payment gateway and related fintech systems, focusing on stability, fault tolerance, and correct handling of financial operations.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and propose solutions at the service and module level, including API design, data models, and external-provider integrations.
- Build solutions that meet security requirements, including PCI DSS, sensitive-data handling, and secure inter-service communication.
- Analyze and optimize service performance, including code profiling, concurrency, data storage, and network interactions.
- Participate in microservices architecture decisions covering service boundaries, communication patterns, load balancing, error handling, queues and streaming, and data storage.
- Produce maintainable, testable code with appropriate unit and integration test coverage.
- Review code, identify issues, and provide constructive feedback aligned with technical requirements.
- Contribute practical solutions to technical discussions within the existing architecture and development processes.
