Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of experience building production data pipelines.
- Have 5+ years of backend engineering experience on scalable distributed systems.
- Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in Python and TypeScript/Node.js.
- Have production experience with multi-vendor data ingest, config-driven transforms, partner APIs, and IoT or regulated healthcare data.
- Bring solid SQL skills and relational data modeling depth.
- Have experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
- Have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have strong API design skills across REST and/or gRPC.
- Demonstrate software engineering discipline in testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
- Have a primary background in external partner-facing operational data integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services for a logistics orchestration and decision-intelligence platform.
- Own partner data flows from multi-vendor ingestion and normalization through warehousing, observability, and on-call support.
- Build and maintain production data pipelines handling IoT sensor data, partner APIs, webhooks, queues, and carrier integrations.
- Develop predictive systems for on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance.
- Automate exception-handling workflows.
- Collaborate with leadership to ship features in a growth-stage environment.
