Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $115,840.00 - $144,800.00. Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $121,920.00 - $152,400.00. This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. This role is eligible to earn commissions.

Requirements
- Have 5+ years of pre-sales experience selling complex technical products, or 6+ years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing experience, particularly in delivery or consulting.
- Communicate and present effectively, gaining audience confidence.
- Explain complex topics to audiences at multiple levels.
- Understand customers' communications needs and guide them to technical solutions.
- Have previous software development experience or working knowledge in one or more relevant technical areas.
- Have a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure and cloud application architecture are desired.
- Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Security experience is a plus.
- Experience with sales methodologies is desired.
- Anticipate approximately 10% travel.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives on opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proofs of concept, RFPs, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions.
- Lead technical and product sales, recommend best-practice solutions, and guide customers on using Twilio APIs.
- Discover customer technical challenges and design, demonstrate, and present solutions to address business needs.
- Build and present interactive customer demonstrations of Twilio Communications Products.
- Engage technical and nontechnical stakeholders and build customer relationships.
- Identify and resolve customer and organizational problems.
- Share knowledge with the Solutions Engineering community and create demonstration materials and reusable presentations.
- Lead the design and execution of small- to medium-sized technical projects with limited oversight.
